Hi Guys and Gals. P.O.T.W is now back on it's normal schedule, but never forgetting the events happening in Japan.

This weeks offering, is of one of THE most detailed paper models out there - The Modelik Maz 543 with the Scud Missile. This kit is so detailed - it's breath taking, the tyres alone are a HUGE task to undertake. Marchal {Martin} did this model proud - nothing left un-done, no detail left out. Martin gave this beauty everything and so much more. So Ladies and Gentleman {Girls and Boys} please give it up for Martin.... and Martin, please accept this award from all the crew here on the good ship PM DOT COM, and enjoy your masterpiece on our front page.... you most certainly EARNED IT !!! ;):)

I was about to say "breath taking", but you already did!
Wonderful model indeed. A true example of the heights the hobby can get :)

I for one being an "air head" as apposed to a vehicle lover, really appreciate the great work done on this Scud carrier.

Super build!

Only question that comes to mind; How did you get the tires to hold so much air pressure?

Everything looks real!

Best regards,
Mike Bauer

Excellent work there Martin.
I considered having a go at that one,
but as I've still got scars, pins, and plates in me legs,
('cos of one of Saddam's Scuds) p'raps not, eh?

Actually the medics weren't sure if it was bits of Scud or Patriot they dug out. Probably both. The Patriots did a damned good job of shooting the Scuds down, but the shrapnel had to come down somewhere.
Right in me lap. No grudges held, but "Why me, Lord?"

Johnny.
