Motif #1 Fishing Shack, Rockport harbor, Massachusetts. You can read more about this at FG, Buildings, New England. I did this one in N Gauge scale as well. I also scaled down the Lobster Boat which is found in the Misc file at FG. A nice big writeup and pictures on this one, including a picture of Chip & Annie. Also a fun build http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

At the top of the home page you will see the links.
move your cursor to Buildings and a pull down menu will come up.
For the Lobster boat click on Miscellaneous
For the buildings click on New England
You'll have to do a search on each page, because there is a bunch of models there.

Very nice work! I like the realistic, subdued colors of the building and boat.
Dioramas really increase the visual impact of any model. I think this is even more true for architectural models, since they are more part of an environment than something like a vehicle. This diorama is a fine example of that. Thanks for sharing the photos, Bob!

I really like this FG dioramas. In its simplicity it captures the flavour of the place. Never been there, but this corresponds to the images I have seen and my stereotype.
Please correct if I'm wrong, but isn't this in Maine, where there was a certain 2 footer railway?
Fiddlersgreen range of architectural models of this theme inspire me to think on a modular micro-layout in On30, using this models and - what a bliss! - some Maine 2 footer railway papermodels one could assemble on available chassis.
How about it, Chip?
best regards
Carlos
