Hey, I am looking for some Sukhoi models, preferably free ;)

Stuff i would be interested in would be something like the Su-34 Fullback, Su-30MKK, Su-35 (37) Terminator.

I did do the SU-34 from mamecraft, the result was rather poor. Thats probably from my side, but well, its a lot harder without any instructions or folding guidelines...
I also saw a free SU-35 on some french site, but it didnt quite appeal to me...

I did check out the FlyModel Su-34, but that is wayyy too extensive for me (i think, it will always be), so a simpler but nice looking model would be great

Ojimak has a Su-34

eh yes, but i dont think ojimaks models will do justice here...i think his models are better for "edgy" planes, like the F/A 22, or F 117, since his stile is more like that...

You might still give the Ojimak a try - I've had pretty good luck putting them together curved, without all the scored folds. That said, haven't done the SU. Good fliers or desk models, but not ultra-detailed.

I've done his Su-33. It looks awesome, one of the best free planes I've ever built

ok yeah when i did the su-47, i tried to make it round wherever it was applicable (like the thrusters). OK guys, ill give it a try. But it seems modern Russian fighter models are pretty scarce on the interwebs, free or commercial...

ehm i think there is no SU-33 on ojimaks site...do you mean the su-27 (closely related) or the su-34?

I have done the SU-35 from mamecraft, it looks pretty good i think when its built right, but the lack of instructions AND guidelines make it a rather trivial build.

Ok i checked out the SU-35 on Pmodel.net, and it is indeed very nice =)

@ Piginapoke where do you mean?

Another problem i ran into was, when i tried to download the SU-34 or MiG-29 on ojimaks site, all a got were the intructions, no parts...

You have to click the name above the image, but only the ones that have a yellow background.

Well, the Su-27K and the Su-33 is the same plane. The former is just the initial name for it.If you look closely, the tail looks the same...ya know, the short one instead of a longer lizard-like tail on other modern sukhois.

About your download problem...try to click at the name of the plane, instead of at the pictures.
Edit:Only the ones with the name highlighted yellow can the parts be downloaded. Some non-yellow named-planes are only available instruction-wise.

Edit2: Oh disregard this one...legion explained it all :P

ok, thx a bunch...apparently ojimak does provide instructions. I build the su-47 without instructions wahtsoever besides waht was included in the parts. OK fellas, im gonna try it out as soon as i find the time =)

@PModel Rookie Ok i didnt know that it was the same thing. It was certainly build upon the same chassis/airframe, but i thought it had other differences (like the F-35, there are like 4 different versions including the VTOL, but they all look almost identical)
