And another week flies bye...... What can one say to this weeks POTW ? One could heap lots of superlatives here, and to find one that sums up this build of the Mercury Capsule in 1/4 Scale is very, VERY hard to do ! will W O W  go far enough, i doubt it, but i guess you guys will put plenty here for the grand builder CLOSET ASTRONAUT - Mark. Mark has made this sooooooo well, and with such dedication, it is totally amazing. The detail, all derived from plenty of research and a love of this era put Mark in the right ZONE to complete the task. Mark, please accept this award from all the Lads 'n' Lasses here on PM DOT COM, and have a great week admiring yourself {and your model of course} on the front page - WE WILL ;):)

Excellent and well deserving. Any museum in the world would be happy to have such a piece representative of a vital period of the manned space saga.:)

I said to my son, Check this out!", my smart ass'd 11 year old son looked at the picture and said "Nice Shirt!", I was caught by surprise and said, 'Not the shirt, the model", to which he replied, "take it easy Dad, I was just joking, but it is a nice shirt!".

What a journey it must have been to build that beast! I enjoyed watching the build thread unfold, and it really turned out to be quite a piece.
