Very nice Texman. The time you took on the display of the model really enchances the final product. Congrats on a great build:):):)

I am honored! Thank you for all the compliments! I am also very humbled that
my little build was chosen over some truly exceptional work displayed this week.

I did not make the base. I have a small selection of display bases I
picked up in Europe that I use for different things, this one just fit the model perfectly!

@Lep - I assume you mean CASM Sproo-Doo? Does this mean you are coming down?

VERY well deserved honor, Ray!

Truly one of the best builds posted on this forum, to be sure. I loved watching this one being built, so thanks for the enjoyable build thread.

My eyes must be going on me, however, as I didn't see any wings on this one...you DO only build aircraft, don't you?;)

Seriously, a wonderful build that clearly entitles you to the honors being bestowed, my friend! Congratulations!!

I only wish you had put some scale reference in the photo so we could all see how truly small this build is, and with such hi fidelity of detail added, particularly that marvelous work on the tracks, many would be simply amazed, I am sure!

Cheers!
Jim

Thanks Jim, always glad to hear from you! As far as just building aircraft, I build
what interests me on any given day. You remember such things as the Skipjack,
the SU-100, etc, right? Just my personal experience, but building other types
of models keeps a lot of different skills from getting rusty.

Thank you both for your most generous comments!

I hear you, mate! Although my first love is merchant ships, I build other things from time to time, whatever suits my fancy at the moment...I find building those roundish fuselages is always a challenge for me, but practise make for a better build next time around.:)

Cheers!

Ray! Is awesome work, is hard to believe is a 1/87 scale!!! I believe ios better detailed with Rocco Minitanks in plastic media...
