Jonathon Brand is building a 1:1 1969 Mustang model.

When finished every part of the 1969 Mustang coupe will be recreated out of paper in 1:1 scale

All this to get a Diamond engagement ring? His marriage surely won't last. Incredible project, for all the effort, he could have takn a part time job somewhere and made the money, For as much money as it will costs in ink and paper, this doesn't make sense. Now, if he was just doing it for fun, well, then this guy would rule, ( in the sense of the present idiomatic expression of "rule").

Should have kept the car, and built a paper wife.

Mind you, who would cook meals and wash the dishes

I did read it wrong, sorry, I was 1/2 awake. I bet he could market it as 'nose piece", just the first foot of the front grill, sticking out of the wall, or as a complete side piece, just a foot thick, sticking out the wall. That would be really cool. This guy may be on to something! If you could open the door, and have a refrigerator behind it, loaded with whatever it is he drinks, I bet they would sell. Of course, he couldn't call it a Ford and sell it without all the copyright problems. Maybe he could call it a Fjord.:)

He is really very clever (genius?). He built a machine based on a drawing pantograph with an added 3rd axis that he used to replicate a 1:1 BMX bike. He calls the machine the 'Battle Axe' and the bike the 'Fallen'

Hey developed his "own" version of a 3 dimensional pantograph. That concept is ancient. He did a nice job though, and making something like that on your own for your own use is clever.

This guys is an Artist. This explains his car better and puts it into a better perspective. Good find.
