it is tricky indeed i am thinking that them parts O glue them to the bottom parts the wings first and to the top coloured part on the other side. no idea if it will turn out better than yours do but alas two different versions of how to build it that means the third may do better ;)

update, a fair amount done i reckon about an hour of building time left but thats for another day.
