Week 52 Leif's Chipmunk

OK, this is "the one that got away", I totally missed the finishing of this absolute beauty,so to put it right, here is a belated POTW for this beautiful build and nice thread full of tips and great picture's
If something like this happens again, I'm open for suggestions , heads-up,pointing in the right direction and bribes;)

Perfect choice Billy however, with Leif's models it must have been difficult to make a choice as they're all quite astonishing :)

I followed Leif's build of this machine, with close interest, as I had recently also purchased the model. Am doing a repaint (with Roman Cholewiak's permission!) on it but I would be very lucky to end up with a finish like Leif's.

I'm 10 years older than you so my ATC experience was on a silver Chipmunk with Dayglo pannels; I guess that yours was on a "raspberry ripple" red and white "Chippy"... Happy days!
