StanGolob did two very clever things lately,
He decided after 10 years to finish his Wrebbit mercedes, and he joined our forum...
I love this model, it is one of the "ultimate" paper models, and StanGolob shows there is hope for all abandoned projects...
His thread is over here ; http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/civilian-wheels/18152-mercedes-benz-500k-wrebbit.html
The model shows up now and then on E-bay,or Amazon;http://www.amazon.com/MERCEDES-BENZ-500K-ROADSTER-Model-Scale/dp/B002LLT9VC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1328895063&sr=8-2

Beautiful car, one of MB's best...and a nice job of modeling it.

Thanks for all the kudos everyone. This was certainly an unexpected surprise. I'm glad you like the pics of the model, and I hope I can contribute more in the future. All I can say is I'm glad I found this group - I never imagined there was such a community of talented designers and builders working in the 'craft'. On the road with a pretty poor wireless connection so will call it done here. Thanks again!

Oh wow! I built one of these several years ago. Was my first introduction to paper models. I remember thinking... "a model made of paper?!? ppffft... can't be any good." And then I bought the kit, and became totally hooked.

A beautiful kit with LOTSA detailed building tips for the newbie. I wish I'd kept the instructions for the thread-built wire wheel section alone.

Kudos on the build!
