Build pictures

How come some of the photo's posted in the build threads appear hosted here and other seem to link offsite? The reason I ask is because where I work has a firewall and for some of the photo's it blocks the offsite ones. Is it poster's choice or is there maybe something amiss with displaying certain images?

It's posters choice... some people prefer to use offsite hosting, others just upload straight to the forum.

It's been my opinion since joining that the photos should be able to be
seen by anyone, member or not. I think it might actually get some more
interest in paper modeling. Is this a big problem?

Why i have to look to the sponsor advertising before i see the photo's?
