Does anyone know an easy way to convert a PDF file to a BMP file? John

xnview is freeware that will do lots of conversions.

PDF Creator allows you to "print" to many bitmap formats including BMP, not only pdf. Check the settings. I'm sure othe "print to pdf" programs do it too.

With Gimp you can open a pdf page and export it as bitmap.
Just remember to setup the resolution to an adequate number like 300 lpi.
