looking for tutorial to apply texture in pepakura designer

title says it all. I have an uncolored model, pepakura designer opens it fine, but I want to texture the model in PD. how do I do it?

You don't, you have to do it in another 3d program, or export the unfolded model to a format Photoshop/Inkscape can handle and texture it that way.

actually you can, I figured it out, its just that it does a crappy job of it.

Pep can apply a texture, but not accurately, it just slaps it on, to do this correctly , you do have to do it in another program as legion has suggested. Many good tutorials in this forum , but not simple, just lots of learning of software and related terms. The journey begins...:)
