I found this basic garage model online by doing a google search. After I built it, it seemed kind of plain and boring, so I spiced it up by adding a bunch of other items to it. All of these can be found in different model kits found online. I just printed and built the ones that I wanted. For the books, I copied the covers from the internet, opened them in paint, and re-sized them by trial and error until they were about the right size. Same with the posters and tools.

Very nicely done. No, it isn't obvious what your favorite car is. It's a real shame that there will be no more Pontiacs

Very nice! You really added a lot of detail to that. The manuals and posters especially are a nice touch :)

Excellent bit of detailing there, but it's still too clean and tidy to be realistic.;)

I've seen the basic garage somewhere before, but I can't put a finger on it now. What's the url please?

Johnny.

Thanks everyone :) I had a good time detailing this. It's my first diorama. Probably not my last though. Here's the link where I found it. It's in German, and I can't read German, but the links for download are at the bottom. Note that it's just the floor and 2 walls. I printed one of the walls twice for mine.

Here's another link with some pretty cool buildings. I got some of the signs from one of the models here as well.

Rats, I guess we need to get you up to 10 posts. Take a look around, make a few comments, and the next 8 posts will pass in very little time.
