Well friends, more a handmade model finished.
This time the subject of the fighter is a Galaga classic arcade game of the early 80s. The model was inspired by the sprite of the game and designs of ships from Japanese animes of the 70's and 80 (aka Starblazer and Harlock) was constructed with filecoat paper 120g and painted with acrylic paint, the panel lines were made with nankim ink pen. .. The scale is 1 / 144

Sweet looking little model! All the more impressive being hand drawn.

It's a beauty, and an interesting combination of techniques.

Thank's people! :)

Following the line of classic building I'm thinking if the ship from Bosconian game, or a fighter from PC Engine game called Armed Formation F...

Pretty cool. The Galaga ship I remember was like 8 pixels - so this is definitely a heck of an interpretation ;)

Before my times, but definitely a great-looking ship!

I just noticed this... Game models from the 80's is an awesome subject.

Well done on the Galaga model. I'm going to assume you had other views to complete the whole design. Are you planning on a 'Dual' model where a captured ship is recovered for more firepower???

Many people in another board asking about this! And encorage me to try but no plan to realize dual model in the moment. The good news in building a Bosconian Gun Ship and Wanger (Armed Formation F fighter) w/booster...

Cheers!

Do you plan on publishing a card model plan for the Galaga Space Fighter?

Unhappy no! :(

This a handmodel, I do not deal very well with 3D programs...

Maybe someone reading this thread could eyeball the ship photos and create a paper model from them?

Galaga: Destination Earth has some good cover art for this video game that came out several years ago. You can see their interpretation of what they think the ship looks like.

Hello, but maybe someone does but I think difficult, since we are talking about a subject over 25 years of age, I got this game for Playstation, I was not aware that there was a port to PC, possibly Meshes can rip off the files the game, this may be a way ...;)
