Put me on the hook for the He-111. I've had it printed for a while now, and it's screaming at me.

I'll call dibs on the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly. Don't know why I haven't already built and I don't need no silver paper like I woulda for the B-26.

Please do! I've tried to build it twice, and always struggled with the engine fairings/pods.

I'm thinking about giving the Luftwaffe F-104 a try, since it looks like it needs a picture. I'll likely downscale it to 1:72.

Is there some more detail about the contest somewhere? Rules, deadlines, allowed modifications?

Started a build of the Rutan Voyager, going to build it stock, wheels up in flight maybe front engine shutdown prop feathered, it flew this way about half the flight to save fuel. Aaron gave me a good starting point, so here's hoping......Rich

Wow that's any easy build, thank you Aaron for a great model. I think it came out good, tried my hand at GIMP making a flying shot but I see I cut off the wing tip, (didn't that happen on takeoff on the record flight?). I'll take some better shots after I get some new batteries for the camera.....Rich

If I remember correctly, the wingtips dragged on takeoff, and the finlets were ground off.

What I don't understand is why they did not test fly it with tanks full of water (at all up weight) the only time it flew at that way was on the record flight and that was what made the wing tips drag the ground. If it had ground off a little more of the tip it would have got in to the tank and ended the flight.......Rich

I guess I have been posting builds in the wrong place, I put a build in the Oddball-O-Rama sub forum not here.
I was looking for some pics of the Proteus and found a site showing a image of it in dark grey upper and black lower, I thought that's cool!
So here is my version of a Proteus spy plane.......Rich
