I have been looking for information on the actual colour numbers for the orange and red used on this CP Air livery. I have not yet heard back from some CP Air alumni or the ad agency that did the "Orange is Beautiful" campaign for them. I have been offered by a flight sim painter gentleman (his best guess): orange - C:0 M:78 Y:89 K:0 and red - C:19 M:100 Y:100 K:10 . Anyone have some other research or experience with this livery?

Regards,
John

Hi John. Yes, I had looked through that site and found the flight sim contact there, though I could not find any other colour specifics. I appreciate your response.

John

They had a copy of a ticket........... bet that's pretty darn close to the colors..........

If I ever get around to make a 737-200 those colors would look good on it.

Ooooh a 737 cp air would be awesome!!!
Could you not google and image or old logo with said colors and sample it? Or google "federal standard CP air colors?" Some plastic model guy probably has posted it

I used a color picker on the logo and got the following results:
Orange
R:252 G:134 B:21
C:000 M:468 Y:917 K:012
#FC8615

Red
R:252 G:78 B:15
C:000 M:690 Y:940 K:012
#FC4E0F

I found that depending on the printer, you may have to do some color adjustments. I sure look forward to a release of any CP Air aircraft.

Thanks,
Gary

Look up plastic model decals as well
One company in Canada I think is called "leading edge decals"
They may have it with specified colors on their instruction sheet

Thanks, I forgot about contacting Leading Edge. I will see what can find from them also.

Sometimes you'll see it in google images with it clear enough to read color numbers just a thought though! Looking forward to your progress
