This Model is an improved version of the phantom f-4 made by the israely
air indestries and was named Kurnass 2000.
Like i said in the begining this model is a Maly design recolored and improved to fit the israely version.

I hope you get a better fit of the parts from the Maly Phantom than I did!

Look forward to more pics!

Because the two parts of the middle fusalage are relativly big i had to reanforce them -bottom top & sides .it ternend out very strong with no depormaties.
the tail part is abit triky but i think it will tern out ok .
thats all for now .

Hi All
because of a lack of space at the rear part of the cockpit i had to move the rear instrument pannel back alittle bit so i will have room for the seat & stick on the expance of the front one whice has a lot of space in comparisson.
next i made the smallest thruttle i have ever made -i thunk it terned out cute.
the next step was to correct a design misstake on the ledge of the cockpits sides. most of the phntoms models have a very thin ledge or dont have them at all.notice they are bent inwords.

rudder and alirons very sraightforword .
the biggest problem i have now is that by trying to make the bottom part of part 9 thiker the end of the part came out ugly.
i will fix this later on.
this is another design misstake this part on the real plane is thik and not thin like the original maly model.
thats all for now...

Looking great so far. The Phantom is not an easy shape to duplicate in paper.

Very nice progress. Makes me reminiscent of my first card models in the '80's. They were both Phantoms, one was the Wilhelmshavener in 1/50th but the other was a silver metallic model in 1/33 (I don't remember / know who's kit it was - it's long been thrown away).

If that's the only silver Phantom you are probably right. I have seen builds of the Geli on the German forums, but they are all of scans so they don't look the same - but it was over 20 years ago, so hard to say.

Hello again
made some progress over the last few days.
this model has alot of problems-malys design has proven to be very poor
with alot of misstakes that dont resamble the real plane.
ihad to refit alot of the parts .
first the rear part of the aircraft -new exsost and landing hook.
second are the front intakes....

wings attached to the body -had major problems fitting them because the shap of the wings & the shap of the body do not mach up with one another.....
next are the air brakes canon housing front landing gear doors and the front landing gear made from scratch.
thats all for now.

great looking build, especially considering some of the design flaws that you had to overcome. I really like the landing gear, beautiful detail! This definately has Picure of the week written all over it! Can't wait to see pics of the completed model.

thanks guys for your comments.
to ron-the ladder is not ML it was designed by a friend of mine
it is a replika of a phantom ladder that was in his airwing.
he designed the phaylons and the landing gear aswell.

Very Very Nice!

If there were any flaws in this model, you sure can't tell it!

Gotta love the Phantom - it has always been a favorite of mine.
