Marek repaint, Albatros D.V Paul Baumer 1/33

I just wanted to pay my compliments to this extraordinarily beautiful repaint. The truth is that I seem to have missed out almost completely on the work by Matt77. Time to make amends.

For me it started by coming across this, in my view, particularly beautiful picture of what purportedly was a paper model:

Of course it was no such thing. It is a very pretty plastic model of a Albatros D.III. (See this web page (http://hyperscale.com/2007/features/albatrosdiii32bc.htm).) But the itch was there - how, and where, could I find a correspondingly pretty Albatros paper model?

After having looked at, and discarded, a couple of printed models, I turned to the Ecardmodels long list of Albatros models. Narrowing it down I arrived at the repaints by Matt77 (here's the list (https://www.ecardmodels.com/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=Matt77&x=0&y=0)). They all seemed in a class of its own, though I got completely sold on this one (https://www.ecardmodels.com/index.php/1-33-albatros-d-v-paul-baumer-jasta-5-paper-model.html):

Although these images are all on the Ecardmodels page for the Albatros D.Vl, I happened to take them from a build once started upon by former member here Tomek, now at the Large Scale Planes Forum. The thread is here (http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=54628), but not much progress after the start, it seems. (In addition, it seems Tomek had some problems with his printer - I'm sure the model could be made to print much better than in the photos of that thread. But then again Tomek's plan was to substitute every ply section with textures of his own so the seemingly bad printing might be part of that plan).

I should also note that Matt77 has introduced two more of his Albatros repaints on our own site, here (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/recolors/28251-marek-repaint-1-33-ltn-wolfs-albatros-d-v.html). They are equally beautiful.
