This issue is happening in several models I import. I figure it is just a basic principle Im missing and was hoping someone could point me at the obvious.

Say I make a cube in sketchup 5mmx50mmx50mm. I open and unfold the cube in pepa just fine except for fact it comes out 50x50x49. I keep losing a mm on my models. What am I overlooking?

If your printing check your paper settings so that its not set to fit page
Pepa uses European paper sizes (A4) and if your printing on Letter size there may be some distortion in the print
206655
Try rotating the cube 90` and see if the distortion is still there
206656

Just a thought hope it helps

No such thing as a 50mm cube in 3D, it's a pretend scale, the output is just numbers, ie 50.00000 or 5.000000 or 0.500000

Pepakura uses a weird scaling multiplier to compenate for the paper size, so what your getting is an 'error' in floating point arithmetic. (see computational mathematics)

So long as your scale is accurate, ie 1.0000 (in this case) then just ignore the mm scale, the unfolded model is correct.

Just one of those things.

look at the knowledge here! outstanding isn't it? the great minds that know these fantastic things. I am envious!

Sorry took me so long to reply. Internet outage here :/

It wasn't during printing.. when hit unfold (without auto clicked) the "Parts Layout" window showed the dimensions. Ill print it out and measure to see if it is just a illusion thing.

Thanks guys
