Now an F-4B recolor of another scissors and planes model with landing gear by CaFe added. It will soon be approved, too

How hard would this be to recolor?

I'll try to do it today. It might take a day or two, but it is definitely possible:)

Wow, are you kidding? that's awesome.

The shark mouth might be the hardest part, but I've made them before. I've already worked on the canopy and surrounding area, so far nothing too hard.

No kidding, shark mouths are always a pain.
Thank you paperengineer for letting us have this model!

Any time Matthew! It might take until Monday or Tuesday to get the f-4 ready, it's nothing about the model, just I also have a little bit of work that I'm itching to do on my a-4 that might be really cool

I got a little time to make a seafire from Bruno's original spitfire, now waiting approval in the download section. It only took around two to three hours, but I haven't built one yet. I will probably build one for tomorrow's 1/200 a day model and hold off on the assembly line for Sunday. I have been procrastinating to not do that F-4 after starting it but I will release it soon enough:)

Sorry for the delay. I'm getting back on to my recoloring/designing stuff so I will finish this pretty soon. First I have to build an F-16 for a guy in town who worked on them, but I doubt this will go unfinished more than a week. Now that I know a few more tricks learned from working on my most recent recolor, the TU-22PD Blinder (with sharkmouth) I know how to handle shark mouths and the like a lot better.

Did VF-111 ever get the F-4S? I thought they went from the F-4B to the F-4N and then to the F-14A by 1978. Their use of the F-4J was very limited (1975) and they reverted to the F-4N.

This 4-view is clearly using the wrong Phantom version. :)

I'll make it an f-4b then since that's the one I have already saved from bruno's free models

Just finished a recolor of an A-3B Skywarrior. It's supposed to be a drab olive geeen but I think it's a little more forest-colored. It's hard to tell on my laptop because the angle of the screen can change the colors so much but I will do a test build soon. On the attached picture, the one that I recolored is on the top. The others might follow soon.

Just finished another A-3 that's awaiting approval in the download section. This one has orange and blue markings over the standard grey and white. Here is a picture of the profile that I used (it left the top of the wings and elevators up to assumption so I had to do a little guesswork :)):

Done again

Thanks again :) since I have 3 more skywarriors (at least) i might not release them individually but instead all in one download.

Just finished the first ka-3b skywarrior. It's the one on the bottom in this picture (the same one with the green a-3 from earlier): http://web.ipmsusa3.org/sites/default/files/reviews/3-skywarrior-units-vietnam-war/a-3_pageb.jpeg
I added an ifr probe with slight gradient effect in the back along with changing the back of the plane to its proper shape. I did not make the refueling system but i might get around to that eventually. I haven't uploaded this one to the download section because I'm going to release them all together. Also, there probably won't be a new skywarrior tomorrow (not that anyone seems to be showing much interest...) since I'm going to be out of town

I woke up at 7am so I got a few hours f to work on my a-3s and I finished the third and final skywarrior in the picture (http://web.ipmsusa3.org/sites/default/files/reviews/3-skywarrior-units-vietnam-war/a-3_pageb.jpeg). I still need to make the side bumps for the eka-3B and I plan on at least one camo, one dark blue, and one recco skywarrior.

Nice! I gave up on my old VAH-13 recolor because I wasn't satisfied with the way I modified the aft fuselage to make the boat tail.
