USS Reliant

I am building USS Reliant. This should go well alongside Ron Caudillo's TOS Enterprise which I finished recently. The Reliant is from SF Papercraft site SF PaperCraftGallery (http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~sf-papercraft/Gallery/reliant/reliant.html).
I enlarged it slightly to be about the same scale as the Enterprise (1:720).
The glue tabs on the saucer sides were a bit big and didn't follow the curve of the saucer part very well. Cutting the tabs to half the size soved the problem.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the edge of your saucer section is on upside down. the slant should be from the bottom out, not the top down.

Thanks, you are absolutely right. Of course I didn't notice until after I posted the pictures....embarrassing.
I printed out some replacement parts and will press on. Hopefully I can assemble the rest of the model correctly.

Thanks Rawen for the docking bays and shuttles. I haven't made anything that small but I will give it a shot.

I remade the saucer section with the sides the right way up this time. Added the rear superstructure and bridge section. Gonna work on the weapons pylon and engines next.

The engine nacelles and support pylons seemed a bit wobbly. I'm going to laminate some thin cardboard to them.
