I agree about the build. The PzKpfw 1 Ausf F wasn't an early tank - the dozen or so built were deployed in 1942. The Ausf F is an example of the disorganisation of German industry. This was so bad that they couldn't produce enough useful tanks in 1942-43. The Panzer 1 design should have been abandoned before WW2 but its development was continued long after there was an possibility of producing a useful vehicle. Fortunately the US and the Russians realised that producing huge numbers of reasonable tank designs was the war winning strategy.
