I thought I start a new thread dedicated to Janx's Alpha Fighter.

This is not meant to pressure them to release it soon though, I have enough backlogs on my desk :o, but I'd like other Mospeada fans to see how beautiful the model is

Awesome. I want. I have an old plastic toy of this, but it's missing some parts. Still love having it on the shelf though.

I did this one a few years back an posted it on the other forum in a thread, since then it has escaped into the world so it is out there.

To make it easier to find I have added it to the anime downloads section. the instructions are mininal so some creative thinking is involved. I have started a more complex, 3 mode version in all 3 flavours too, yet another ongoing wip ;p

hey thanks for posting the Alpha, I hope I can build one before the year is over. Just looking at all the bevels and details I am guessing this one will take 5 times as much effort as the VF1, that is like 2-3 months for me.

Some Images of the 3 mode version.

Alot of details to work out properly such as the fit of parts in the legs and arms. I'll probably not make this available as is, but make 3 fixed versions of the exiting Legioss/Alpha but I have a few wip, so this version is on long term hold.

lol, not all of us can build flawless models in their sleep and earned the right to keep pestering the model designers for more like Getter1.

for me WIP pics are good enough and can go a long long way :)

btw, very nice WIP, what 3D drawing software are you using?

I use Maya mainly, but have access to Max, Catia and a few others through work. All textures done in Illustrator and Photoshop.

ooo ooo, i wish i can design models at work too :)

although on some other threads some one was talking about nailing a note to some one else's forehead, i am sure it was all in good humor, :D
