HI to everyone i have been working on borg vessels for days now. Here are some of the vessels that will be paper models soon. I'm also working on the borg queen command ship. and another ship thats different. And i'm working on transwarp hubs also. hope you like.:):)

Building to scale would be tough though looking at the size differences between the cube and the spec on the right (a probe maybe?).

I just checked and a Borg cube in scale with my fleet at 1:1700 would be 1.8m long on an edge! :eek:

BUT: the tactical cube must have the same size like the big cube (3000x3000x3000 meter)
I agree with "cmags": in 1:1700 it will be a big model!:eek::eek::eek:

A Borg Queen ship should not be a problem, Just don't throw out the box your washer or dryer came in. Close the box and start skinning the outside.:D:D:D

In jest I try to make a comparison of the size of the scout or the Enterprise to the BIG Cube. The Queen Borg ship is basically a cube (or a BIG BOX)). Your attempt to make the ships the same scale will give you a big box about the size of a standard square washing machine or square dryer.:D:D:D

Hm... there are several normal Borg cube paper models already out there, as well as a tactical cube.

HI Millenniumfalsehood its goning to be a simple cubes. and the spheres are too. i made a sphere long time go on other forum but its was to hard to put to gather so i'm going to make all the borg ships simple. i hope everyone will like that way!:):)

D-whale said earlier in the thread that the tactical cube should be the same size as the original borg cube (3000M square). After looking around the web and through a load of books I have, this is wrong the tatical cube is only half the size of the original cube. Therefore the tatical cube is only 1500 M square, still big though.

Not to Nitpick, but wouldn't 1500 meters a side make the tactical cube 1/8 the size of the reg cube? I've run into issues with people over geometry so I've become quite a Geo-Nazi. Just wanted to be sure of what you mean by half.

On the other hand, I would love to try and build a fully layered cube, from the frame up. All that plating would be intense!

Yep a cube with 1500 meter sides would be 1/8 the volume of a cube with 3000 meter sides. I figure to have a cube with 1/2 the volume of a 3000 meter cube you would need a cube with sides measuring 2381.102 meters.
