I have ordered a number of models on DVD from Apollonia Japan (www.tvc-15.com (http://www.tvc-15.com), ordered via www.hwjapan.com (http://www.hwjapan.com)). Before I get started on the very elaborate Saturn V, LUT and crawler transporter, I wanted to see how these models are, so here is a quick-and-dirty build of the Apollo 13 Command Module after splashdown, with interior. I have enlarged the model from 1:48 to 1:32.

I have a copy of Apollonia Saturn V, LUT and crawler transporter. I'll be looking foward to your build thread on it and the Apollo 13 Command Module.

This one will not take long. Here is the base of the command module:

Have you printed or started them yet? I think they're quite impressive.

I have the Apollo Saturn V with mobile launcher and the Crwler Trasporter from Apollonia. It's a nice paper model, but you need a A3 printer to print the sheet out full size. The sheets are 16.5 X 11.7 in size. I don't have a A3 printer. My printer only prints 8 1/2 by 11.

I had started this but I stoped becauce I hadn't decited what size I wanted to make it in, full size or reduce size. If I do it full size thats a lot of splicing pages together. At this point I just haven't decited.

What are your thoughts on this? Are you going to build it full size?

Printing the Saturn V, LUT & CT is no small task. I have an A3 printer at home, an HP OfficeJet 7000 inkjet printer, and got good results with it, although the printer was buzzing in the background for a few nights in a row. It's not cheap to print either, because the red parts of the main tower are quite thirsty for yellow and magenta ink. But I could not resist printing full size!

The rest of the interior, and combining the shell with the heat shield.

As I said, a quick-and-dirty build. I got the hang of the Apollonia kits enough to go on to the crawler transporter, followed by the Saturn V and LUT!
