This week we're featuring one of the many Fiddler's Green builds currently in the forum. This one is a very nice little triplane by jimkrauzlis - more pictures here (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/improved-stock/7707-fgmm-fokker-dr1-ernst-udet-1-72-scale.html).

Considering the many, MANY excellent models I have seen as POTW I am extremely honored that you have even considered my little Fokker for this honor.
Thank you very much! I am so very happy you like how this one came out!
Many thanks!

That's a sweet little airplane. A really good build and a great choice for POTW.
And Jim: Yes, you should be honored to be among such good company, but you certainly deserve it.
If possible, could we see a couple more shots?

Thomas, here are a few more shots, as requested...hope the defects revealed by the closeups don't disappoint....

Well done! It looks great on its own, but when you see that penny and realize the actual size of it - wow! VERY impressive! Congratulations, a well deserved POTW.

Congrats Squinty. Finally racked up one for the front page...

Hey, Glen!
No, one of the few builds that doesn't float, but it does have a prop and a rudder!:D
Thank you for the very kind words!

It's terrific, Jim. Hard to believe it's 1/600 scale!

Well, Don, that disbelief is well founded...it's 1/72 scale!
Hope you're not disappointed!

And I see you included all the rigging that was on the original airplane, too!

Yep, which was not too difficult on this particular airplane given the relatively simple rigging. I just had a bit of a chore doing the control horns and rigging...just don't breath when you are working on those!:D
Thanks so much for your compliments, Don, I do appreciate it!
Cheers!
