A great looking model. Is it your own design or a recently released kit.

Nice design and build Brent. It is nice to see someone doing Canadian military models.

My eye was drawn to this thread cause it said something about a Canadian Otter:D Now I have learned something new.

Next I ran a quick search and found this...Check out this video: LRC Otter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zElxGMuGW0)

Thank you, This was just a quick build to see if everything fit. I still have to cutout the Bren gun and mount, the tools on the back and the step into the vehicle.
If this turns out well, I plan on doing the Lynx and Fox armoured cars.

Dear Brent:
Looks good I love the Armored Car ect. Just when you think you have seen them all a new one never saw before comes along. I am Impressed with what you have got. was the otter just Canadian, or did other countrys use them? one more Question Why did you pick 1/48 scale?
thanks Miles Linnabery

Thanks Miles,

The British also used the Otter but it was made in Canada. After WW2 some other countries used the Otter (left over from British and Canadian use). I originally started making 1/72nd tanks because I didn't have to do the individual road wheels and track links (no time). I then tried 1/48th and it still looked good to me.

I started one 1/25th scale tank and gave up when I got to the wheels and tracks.

Hi Brent. Where can I get your Otter? Will it be offered for purchase or even offered free in the Download section of this forum? Greetings Harry
