Many happy returns, Jim. (I have no idea what that means, but my wife's been saying it to me every birthday since we got married in 1967.)

Thanks again everyone. And incidentally, this means that if you have smoke in your chimney then you have money for coal so you are a lucky person and want for nothing. In case you wondered. :D

Cheers - now time to open the Scotch. ;)

Wow! I know I have said thanks before but what the heck. Thanks a lot for the new entries.

And what do you mean don't mix alcohol and modeling. :D. I thought it was mandatory/compulsory/obligatory. How about modeling 1 minute - stop. Drink 2 seconds - stop. Repeat until either model or drink is finished. I think this is called Time Division Multiplexing. :D

And as I write I see Peter has snuck another one in. Thank you as well kind Sir.

Cheers

You are welcome mate... Now get 'em in.. mines one of your finest malts {single malt that is, although some blends can be quite amusing  } and a FAT cigar... Now this is one of the best tips i can give you !!! it goes like this, when you have completed your model {and do this after all completed models} Put the model in front of you, pour the nectar into the tumbler, light the cigar {if you are into them that is} Sit back, relax and admire your beautiful work..... Do this until you have forgotten what you are sat looking at, and possibly the point where you can't even remember making it :D Not that i would do this kind of thing you understand  Hope you had a Greeeeeeeeeeeeeat day mate ;)

First let me thank everyone for their kind words. Sorry I don't respond to each one but it is very kind of each of you to take the time. I think Peter gets the award for the biggest text size in his though. :D

You Sir, I have to thank for the wonderful idea. Only problem is that when the wife bought my last bottle it is now in a decanter. So unless I lose the glass cap, I'm stuck, :). My first wife was from Wales as it happens. Looks like you are from Aberdeen? My brother works on the Oil Platforms and lives up there.

Anyhoo many thanks again.

Cheers
Jim
