ALIENS M-41A Plus Rifle 1-1

Hi to everyone.This is my 1st time post on this website. The M-41A plus rifle scale 1-1 from the Sci-fi movie James Cameron's ALIENS. I took 3 full days on assembly of this kit from 30 sheets of 180g matt A4 paper. This is original color fro mthe kit no additional painting or weathering.

Thanks to all comments. I really love this cracy movie and this kit is my favorite one. The magazine is finished but i did not put it in but I skip the explosive shells.

Dear Oldbot:
Besides 30 pages did it eat a whole ink cartrage? I hate to say it with all the posts about edge coloring I liked the Pictures with the whit edges showing it adds something. I guess that I shall finily rent the movie.

Hello Miles. Yes, it consumed much more ink than other kits I printed before. I'm lucky that there is an "ink tank conversion kit" available here which able to contain about 100ml each color. With the refilled ink, it make printing cost much cheaper. Of cause, the quality is about 90% which is acceptable anyway for hobby.

This has been my fav rifle ever since I saw the movie. Dont have the guts to build it yet...soon tho
