As usual, I take a few models to work on while on vacation. This is the famous kit from Delta 7 studios, quite possibly one of the most well known paper models and the one that I got my start on. This particular version was built using the escape tower and launch pad kit from Erick Munoz of Ericksmodels.

Very nice mate. Do you have any close up pictures you could share with us please? Looks like you've done a very nice job on this.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Dyna-Soar, that was one of my first card models!! And you included the base, I never got that part done.

I still have it too, thanks for the great reminder of some of the fun models I've built over the years.

Yeah, I ran across the Delta 7 Studios site one fateful day way back in 2002 while doing a google search for "Mercury Redstone" (Back in the "Dark Ages" of dial up). I started printing, and the rest, as they say, was history. I still have my original MR-8, except for the fact that I converted into a Redstone IRBM at point.

Nice-looking build. Thanks for sharing the photo....

Delta 7 Studios was also one of my first introductions to card modeling, although I never got around to building this model.

I have the model in my stash. What scale is it? 1/96?
