Great build, I've sure that I'm one of many that have been quietly following this build.
One of the techniques that I heard about to imitate canvas is to use tissue. You can spray it down with starch which will soften it to take what ever cloth type fall/drape that you need, then will harden, which will allow you to paint it... I've never tried this technique, but is something that I always had filed away for the event that I ever built one of about a hundred different dioramas/models that I've bounced around in my head. |

Thanks for the tip, stays in my mind. But as the model is in paper, I would also try to do canvas on paper. Perhaps with parchment paper. |

Hello Papercut
Yes it’s a very detailed model. As you can see in presentation, has 746 parts. Only for tires tread are 372 parts. Is a model for sale, but decided Renova offers it for free perhaps to advertise Kraz Well the big truck (the Kraz) is available in Renova site again. Don't hesitate neither wait! It's, for me, the best model so far created. |

........................................... ooOoo .................................... The basket After finished the lateral panels and floor, it's just plug them. After, three wires to the structure of the canvas and the boards on sides. ... boards to the front panel And then on the rear panel. More 4 wires and is ready to take the canvas. Only 24 pieces are missing, are the hooks to pass the rope canvas that will be applied only after mounting the canvas. |

I always enjoy your builds I often fallow them on other forums. Your Blog is also very good, lots of good information. This is a photo of a model that I used "Tissue Paper" to make the small canvas cover. I'm thinking that tissue paper does not translate. This is the paper that you would wrap a present in before you put it into the box. very thin but can hold ink and is easy to shape. For this model I found the camouflage pattern for a German half tent and using a drawing program expanded the size and scale. I taped the tissue paper to 67lb (110gsm) paper and ran it through my printer. Jim Nunn
