Continuing with the adjustment construction ( man who knows all the names for theese parts??)
It's the frame where the barrel will be added later.... First a couple of drawings. Parts are glued to 0,5mm karton. Each part will be laminated out of 3 parts X 0,5mm. Parts ready for assemble. Here I have glued the parts together and the main frame is ready to come together. Next parts was the vertical adjustment gear. Inserted to the casing And some metalwork And some unnamed parts |

Johnny the pictures that you provide and the help you provide new members to this hobby are a big help. It is so much easier to follow your builds. They clear up a lot of the gray areas in the instuctions that come with the kits. Thanks for the help

Johnny -- It is fascinating to see the parts of the gun displayed alongside photos of the prototype from the actual manuals. The fidelity of all your models to the actual weapons and vehicles makes them valuable historical resources. In this case, I think you have reached a new level. Don

I have a box full of o-rings that were for drive wheels on old VCR's (I used to repair that kind of stuff). I never thought about using them for wheels. Some have round profiles when cut others are square.

SOOOOO the build continues after a "little" break
Continued with making the legs. The drawing of the inner skeleton The parts and the finished skeleton Rolling and shaping such long and coned cylinders isn't always the easyest thing to do...but with some patience and careful shaping its not that bad to make. Parts to be cut out, and the finished tubes The end plate Drawing Not very difficult to make this part.Just a few metal parts missing. To be continued |

Time Does Not Apply
Hi Johnny,
Time constraints do not apply. Great build at a scale where no squinting is required..., -Gil |
