WAK Type 95 Ha-Go build

It's been a while since I did any type of build thread. I thought this would be a good one to get back into the swing of things.

This is WAK's 1/25 Type 95 Ha-Go Japanese Light Tank. Introduced in the 30's, this tank was quickly outclassed at the outbreak of WWII.

First pictures are of the cover art and built-up hull framework. everything fits right and tight. I hope this is a sign of good things to come!

Greg, this looks pretty good thus far. I really look forward to seeing more on this build. You're right about the good fit. That is a good clean frame.

Jeff

P.S. I forgot what size gun that little guy had. What is it, about a 35mm?

Nice!
It's good to see another Japanese tank being built

According to the data published with the model, the main gun is 37 mm. So you were very close in your estimate.

The primary skins have been installed. They fit perfectly! On the right side you can see the optional vent pieces installed from behind.

Excellent, Greg! This is one on my list for a someday build (and I have a VERY simple 1/48 [blown up from 1/87] one under construction) and I will be saving all your words and images of wisdom!
