yes!! I bought the Sherman from bestpapermodels!
...and I bought a Tiger too!

The Sherman Zathros just posted looks pretty good, don't think I have seen that one before.

The white models from Ys can be opened in a Paint program and coloured
or you could colour after printing?

If I remember correctly I just imported the file into my Paint program
and then I started colouring...but I also used actual photo elements
and some shaded layering in the wheel parts.
When you are done, export the file as a PDF if possible to retain image quality,
or you can export and save as a jpeg, png, tiff, etc

You can alos just print directly from the paint program...but I recommending saving first
in case you need the file again.

You could try installing Gimp and load the pdf into that. It'll pop-up a window saying 'Import .pdf' and you can choose which page by clicking on the preview image) to import, each page on a layer. Another alternative is to use Inkscape which might work better for vectored pdf's, but it's quite hard to use.

Heres a quick lesson in how to do a simple repaint using Windows PAINT
(I just did this and it works perfectly. If you get lost, I can provide some screenshots)

First, I download the PDF file.
Open it in my PDF viewer.
Make sure my PDF viewer is full screen window,
and then choose a one page, full screen image.
IMPORTANT - Change the page VIEW...rotate 90 degrees to give you the biggest image on screen.

The idea is to make the model page fill your screen as big as possible.

Now hit PRINT SCREEN on your Keyboard.
This takes a photo of your screen/desktop.

Open your PAINT program.
and click PASTE (should be top left)
and your entire screen/desktop will appear.

Click the SELECT (CROP) and define the model page area
and then crop.
You now have the model page, as an image, in your PAINT program.
You can rotate back to vertical if you like at this point or leave it horizontal to work on.

[its not super high quality...only as good as a screen shot of your desktop,
but its a good starting point and allows you to practice your paintwork.]

Now, start painting!
I recommend you save the image at this point before mucking it up.
PNG is the highest quality if PDF is not integrated, but JPEG will do just fine too.
Print whenever!

IMPORTANT - Do NOT distribute your repaints. Do NOT share them with anyone.
Repainting an image like this is for your own personal use.
If you want to share the repaint with anyone, you MUST contact the original designer,
show them what you have done and ask permission to share the repainted model.

Zathros's link does work, it's the Sega sherman.
Could you please show me how to download the model from that link. I could not figure it out and did not want to post it without knowing how to get the model. Thanks You.
