Next bit - another dreaded bit! - rolling the barrel
Decided early on, not even to bother using the original. Popped it into my scanner / printer thing and ran copies off using normal paper (80 gsm) Built a test one, weny okay but far too flimsy. So I cut a second and left more paper on. I started gradually reducing the tube down using smaller size rods Overall, I think it went quite well. Tim |

Turned out pretty good Tim. You're right that is the dreaded part only thing harder on a tank is the treads, eeek!

Tracks are finally cut out:
Only 130 of the little blighters. Not too difficult, took my time and used a sharp scalpel. Coloured the endges with a grey felt-tip pen. They look straight forward to fold - famous last words. Will probably make a jig up to help. Wish me luck! Tim |
