I've never spray painted a knife, but on some of the theater props I've done in the past, I had pretty good luck on metal fittings on a train by spraying with silver paint, then went over that with almost a dry brush of grey, then a high-gloss clear coat. It looked very good, from the audience, but only okay from the stage.

I'm sure others have better ideas.

Hello ....
Perhaps such a way that is good .....
Polish the blade evenly as it should look like. Good airbrush paint in black nitro. How to dry properly - try to paint a good metalizer Alclad. After polishing, Oxyd and a little rust

I've been checking into the Alclad paint and it looks just like real chrome. It does require airbrushing.

I think your knife came out very well. What method did you finally use?

On the sheath, black on black does not photograph well, so I don't see the stitching ...

well that would be a camera fault as the camera of my cell is 3 megapixel so not so good

i spray painted it light silver and polished it
