Thanks Sharunas, Dutchboyinohio, Erik , Paperengineer, Bernie, Creostewind and Slog. It is nice to have the tracks on at long last rather than seeing them sitting in the tray all coiled up.

Update from last Sunday
finished off the lights nice little bit of petal work the designer drew up the parts so that there was an extra bit to roll up into a tube line the petals then to be folded over and glued into shape and then the extra bits cut off when the glue dried. I painted the inside with some aluminium paint as well is to the nail heads which I then glued inside as the light bulbs I then cut out the centre of the light fronts and replaced it was clear plastic.

I then made up light guards.

And then the racks to carry the spare track treads.

That's it for now

Great job man really. So many parts and I would probably screw around and blow one off or use a ton of glue

Thanks Eatcrow, Elliot and Paperengineer i have spent some time grovelling on the floor looking for small bits, made all the more difficult as I have a green carpet.

On with the update, made up and fitted the air vents to the front and one just behind the turret also made up and fitted to Keats to hold the towing cable.

In the process of making up 3 fuel tank caps.

The 3 fuel tank caps fitted in place I stuck a little strip of paper to represent a catch to one side of each cap.

Starting to make up the 2 front hatches.

The domes fixed the top of the hatches.

That's it for now

Outstanding work! About the only thing that could make this even better if that's possible would be, 1/6 scale or bigger! Great job!

Awesome, awesome, awesome work! One thing you might try when looking for small parts on the rug.... If you have a Shop Vac or similar, stretch a nylon stocking over the nozzle and sweep the rug. Whatever you catch won't be sucked down the nozzle.

David, the project of a life time! Even with your outstanding detailed pictures at close range one could not imagine this is all made of paper. Good idea to protect the inside of the tank with tissue paper.
