At 300 dpi in 1:72 scale, they should be very sharp in 1:144 scale. On the other hand, enlarging the parts to 1:48 scale means 200 dpi, which is still a very acceptable resolution for most printers.

Nice to see that he has repainted the Renault FT-17!
And all the models are in 1:72 and not the odd 1:76. A few moths ago i wanted to buy a Scneider CA1 model but The hobby factory is down for half a year now. (Does somebody know if this site will be active again?) So i mailed him and asked if he could sell me the requisted model. He mailed all the 3 models for free and also told me the he was thinking about to offer all his models for free. Still missing some models, e.g. the 4 old 1:76 FT-17 and a late Schneider CA1. But maybe he will offer them also for free soon. Thanks Clifton! |

Some of the whitemodels I put up on Landships II are still in raster formats - jpg. I used PaintShopPro to color the models, and it had no vector capability to speak of. I started using CorelDraw to color my more recent models and can re-do the old whitemodels as vector-pdf's if that helps those who want to re-color them.
BTW, I uploaded a 1/600 model of IJN Minekaze last night and am waiting for it to be "approved". Regards, Wayne McCullough |

A new model - Nobi's 1/48 A7V-U - linked under the "Thai Paperwork" menu tab.
Thanks for the positive comments on Landships II. If anyone has a passion for a WW1 subject(s) and wants to write an article - Landships II is always looking for new material. We try to explain the context of the hardware described in the articles, it seems to make the subject more comprehensible to a modern audience, since we are separated by nearly 100 years from the events of WW1.
