Read the original post - Landships II is co-hosting Andriy's models.

There are some concerns about the continuation of the "Allfrompaper" website because of changes to the terms of service by narod.ru. There is a real chance Andriy's website will disappear. The older models have been repackaged to match Andriy's current format - the plan is to offer all the free armoured car downloads (when I get time to do so).

Another, co-hosted, armoured car on Landships II - 1/43 Mgebrov-Renault by Andriy Romanchuk. The model represents the early version with a three man turret. Both coloured and white model versions are wrapped into the .pdf.

Regards,

Charlie

Finally - the last armoured car model on Landships II for now - the Mgebrov-White.

The remaining armoured car models on allfrompaper.narod.ru are either available on ecardmodels or, in the case of the Ba-64, out of period for Landships.

Regards,

Charlie

There is something wrong with the Mgebrov-White download (what you get is Mgebrov-Renault).

Two new models from Wayne McCullough:

Crompton Emplacement Destroyer 3
4.5" Howitzer

(some history)
Col R.E.B. Crompton was invited by the Landships Committee in 1915 to design "landships" which could break through barbed wire entanglements, cross trenches and protect the crew from small arms fire. As well as landship designs Crompton also designed a few "Emplacement Destroyers" carrying fairly heavy guns. In modern terms these would be termed "Assault Guns". The third design was a box-like vehicle with a 4.5" howitzer firing rearwards. None of the Crompton designs was built but they influenced later tank designs.

Wayne's model includes some internal details and is of the Crompton concept and lacks many of the features of an operational vehicle.

You will need both models for a complete Emplacement Destroyer. The downloads are fairly big - about 7MB - so your browser may appear to have frozen - be patient.

Regards,

Charlie

This looks like a very good looking model, and it comes with clear instructions!
