Mt-lb 1/87
Well, it is finally done. The MT-LB build seen here
1/87 pta mt-lb is complete. In the end, here is what I had. In the original kit, there were approximately 51 parts. At the end the final tally is 300 pieces nipped from the tracks, with 128 cleats added. There were 190 pieces added or modified, and 156 glue "enhancements" on the road wheels. The finished vehicle is 3 in long, or 7.6 cm. So here is the end result of almost 3 months work. I hope you enjoyed the journey.

It not only doesn't look like paper, it looks like a model 3 or 4 times bigger. Stunning small scale work, Ray.....as always.

Hi Texman!
I missed build thread... Finish is great! And when compare Your model with starting material it is REALLY GREAT! I like wheels and soft, not exaggerated weathering effect. Congratulations! How about standing? Is this Your job? Regards! |

Thank you all for your gracious compliments. I appreciate you all and your support.
@jjb89 - No, I did not make the display base. It is one of several different pattern display bases I picked up while I was in Europe a few years ago. This one just seemed to fit the model perfectly.
