This is really a beautiful and well designed model...and for FREE? unbelievable..Thankyou!

I do have one question..which might have been answered already but..why 1/35th scale? would really love to see all things in 1/25th so everything is consistent, but would like to hear your reasoning for scale...

again ThankYou very much!

Possibly because plastic armor models are mostly 1/35? Makes it so you can use this with a tank model you have already built.

Thank you all 'cause you always follow my work. Anyway , for me it's a pleasure to share my models with you.
Now... why 1/35 scale?
First of all, because of the size of the models; then, because the contests I take part to are of plastic models and their classic scale is 1/35; finally, because in this way, making a diorama for the model it's possible to purchase a lot of accessories that are available on the market.
Ciao!

Makes sense to me...I try to rescale my paper models to the "conventional' plastic scales for exactly those reasons...

I have rescaled my MAZ model to 1/25, and will rescale the trailer to that size also. For me, the resize is easier to see the small parts and makes this great kit somewhat easier to build. Still a lot of parts tho.

The build is very impressive at the 1/25 scale and gets a lot of attention because most plastic kits are 1/35 scale. The main frame is over 30 centimeters, over 1 foot long. The tires are 6 centimeters across!! Very impressive!

Thanks Enrico, for making this kit available to us all!!

Enrico, congratulations on completing this magnificent model! Bravo!

When I recently read about a new pc game called "Spintires", I immediately thought of you.

It's a highly-detailed simulation of logging operations using heavy-duty Soviet-era trucks. The trucks are modeled so realistically, with details like flexing suspensions and swinging chains. The mud and water effects are amazing. Below are a few images from the web.

Tanks to all
I'm glad that you appreciate my work!!

@Art Deco: thanks for the reporting of the game! Is truly a sight to drive the beast!!!!

@Cheswick: For the moment I work on the model "Refugee" in the civilian section.
Then I have planned the IMR to be loaded on the Maz trailer....but also an Italian truck.....we'll see.

Interesting to see Angraf & Model-Kom have both just released versions of this tractor/trailer combo.
Made me wonder if someone had done a rescale & paint of Enricos work...? Or maybe it's just a coincidence.
