GPM Dragon Wagon

After setting on the shelf for three years, I have decided it was time. This is going to be the biggest and most complex model that I have built to date. I look forward to the challenge and hope you enjoy following along as well. As you all probably already know I'm not the worlds fastest builder so be prepaired for this to drag out for a few years... Ha ha ha! I've spent a lot time reading and researching other build threads to help guide me along the way.

With out further ado... here are parts 1 thru 12 that make up the frame of the tractor. Next will be the bottom half of the engine and transmission.

Hi Kevin,

Good Luck and best wishes for a sharp scalpel! At the model show we went to last month in Vienna, publisher Tankograd had an awesome reference book full of pictures... I found a link but as I loath eBay I wont post it. Even though I predominantly build ships I've had this one in my collection for awhile and will be following along with enthusiasm.

Kind Regards,

Cris

Hi Kevin,

Beautiful model and very clean start. I also made this model.....is very rich in detail but you can improve a lot! Good job.

That's a great looking start you have there, Kevin. The foundation is everything, and your's looks straight and true.

I have to fix my Sherman, finish my Zuiho and my Scud Launcher before I could tackle this one myself. It is so nice to finally see you build this one. Don't tell Don though, he might break 10000 posts just by commenting on this thread.
