Project of 1/24 S.A. scout Marmon-Herrington Mk.III

I started drawing the 3D model of the WWII South African armored cars Marmon-Herrington Mk.III.
Despite the lack of documentation found, the work goes quickly and smoothly.

Chassis and bumper

New details on the design of the model: chassis, suspension and bumper:

Are currently being designed the differentials, then I will pass to the coloring of the boards .

For what will concern the camouflage, I have not yet decided (counter, desert or war prize (Regio Esercito or DAK)

I built the British WWll scout car a while back and gave it the South African color scheme of a dark green and made the markings to reflect the South African Army circa 1960s. This was the heyday of the Zealous Scouts. I look forward to your build and thanks for sharing. "Panwe Chete".

Note: For more info on South African military, google the Above motto.

Colour plates

These are the first two colored sheets of the model.
I spread a neutral basic color editable:

SA Army vehicles

I was in the SA army in 1980 till 1981 and the vehicles we used was the
Ratel :
Buffel - That vehicle was very uncomfortable for the troopers to transport but it was a very safe vehicle even for landmines.
The Unimoc
Samil 50
Noddy car - Very interesting vehicle, Car was with a built in canon like a tank
I was more in the signal corpse and did not know all the vehicles that was in force at that stage.
