I have encountered problems because of my changes, but this is all part of the fun. This is an incredible kit and I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.

All the best and happy modelling

Modifying an existing kit as you go along is part of the fun isn't it.

I am indeed, I'm working on it in between other kits, it's definitely not a quick build! I'm debating whether I should build the regular engine covers or figure out a way to make the advanced covers work. Either way the size is quite intimidating, scale is just a number until you see the kit in front of you.

I cannot be responsible for lost fingers if you stick your hands in the machinery.

Cardist, I have been checking on your build and dismayed to see no progress posted. Your build was looking fantastic. I am almost finished my Canadian Centurion after two years of slow progress. I don't see any problem with what you have been doing with your build. I left the top hull plate (sides and aft end) unglued to permit removal of the turret, removal of engine cover, then careful pivot of hull cover plate to reveal interior. Build posted on AirDave forum cutandfold.info

Papermangler, Airdave, et-al,

Thanks for dropping by and keeping this post afloat. I have not made any build progress on this model for a while. The short story is that I have had quite a traumatic year and I have had to take some time out. I have been keeping up to date with P.M. of course and have been occupying myself with a few quick builds. However, I will be renewing the Centurion build shortly as I have completed some extra components for the fighting compartment.

All the best and happy modelling.

Bernie
