Large scale Rolls Royce armoured car WWI/
I think this is something that might be suited to the Dave Winfield style.
Certainly one of the main contenders for doing a high detail model. Preferably with an option to represent those operated by parts of my old regiment in Egypt during 1940 (the 11th Royal Hussars). |

There is a 1/25th by GPM that has laser cut parts available for it. Its a little bit earlier version then yours, probably wouldn't take much to modify it.

I love that RR Car!
yeah, I have looked at this...and a few other armoured cars. Theres a good chance I will do more like this, just not right away. That WW1 Horse Ambulance is still calling my name. My Grandad was 10th Hussar In Egypt and India before the War started. I have some photos somewhere. He was in Scotland during the War (Black Watch)

The shiny tenth were the only regiment to wear the colours of a foreign (don't like that word anymore) regent, Prince Albert being German and from the house of Hannover. They amalgamated with the 11th Hussars to become the Royal Hussars (PWO) the regiment I served in which later amalgamated with the 14th/20th Kings Hussars to become the Kings Hussars. They were the lead regiment in the battlegroup that went over to Poland for the last big NATO exercise and currently operated a mixed group of Challenger II and Scimitar recce vehicles. They still wear the colour of Prince Albert.

Addendum. They acquired the colours of Prince Albert due to forming the honour guard for him during his marriage to Queen Victoria. He was so impressed with the regiment he asked for them to be allowed to be associated with him. Quite an achievement.

Sorry mate but I cannot let that go. They are the Kings Royal Hussars. Not trying to be too pedantic but it IS their proper title.
Peninsular war. The chamber pot is used for new junior officers on their first officers mess 'do' at which they are usually regally urinated. |

Not a problem, I think it being an offshoot of my regiment makes me a little particular about the name is all. The 'pot was filled with whatever was left at a convenient point in the evening and was drunk as far as possible by the noob. I think they are a lot more responsible alcohol levels wise than they uses to be.
