Just to add to this thread, on the Zelot forum it is claimed that the chassis is 1cm too long, however this may not be the case, there are 4 main variants 9, 9/1, 9/2 and 9/6
these being artillery/towing(defferent body), 6 tonne crane, 10 tone crane and 40 tonne winch.
On the 9/2 verson the chassis was 25cm longer and 7.5cm wider, the chassis on this model could be taken from the 9/2 version and in 1/25 scale equals 1cm.
This I found in the Nuts and Bolts book no. 12 on the famo, the book also contains good corrected drawings of the FAMO.
Hope this of use to fellow modellers.
