Impressive work dje, especially the wheels! 300 rivets is torture but surely rewarding, although, .... you have to draw a line somewhere .... . Keep up the good work.

Cheers,
Erik

Thanks erik.
Actually using the fourth set of rivets. Looking at what it's still to be done, in the end it will be between 750 and 800
First, I thought about only doing the top but once you started, you have to do it all. But it really improve the model so it worth the work.

Starting the turret. Already found a new major error - spoiler alert - the hatch open on the back not the front as describe in the instruction.

thanks roman.

More work done.

Finished riveting, added the turret, bogies, the propeller too - that was an amphibious tank . glued track drive and idler.

Turret. A problem with the machine gun ; parts around were too short, had to "patch", you can see it at the bottom of the barrel.

Bogies. Simple parts though I didn't do a great job , hopefully it will be under tracks.

Track drive. Used a 78mm/2mm copper axe Each cap is originally made of a rolled cylinder (3 steps). Made it of only one step directly glue to the copper axe.

Working on suspensions and started dusting the model, just made some tests

Did some work on suspension.
2 done, 2 to go. Most part already cut, so in 2 evening it should be done. Next will be tracks, some details and finish.

Cut templates to bend inner parts (24d & 23a), just one problem, gear are 5mm wide, support 9mm inner so a cut new 2mm "axe" to replace the 1mm from the kit (part 27). Also (re) print part 23a with 2 sides.
Nuts are lasercut.

Beautiful details on the suspension and shock dampers. So, even nuts are available as laser cuts. Great job, dje!

Salutations,
Erik

Angry

Assembling the track. If link engrave look good, just found a "little" problem.
Kit provide 204 links, whom only 166 are needed, and... 213 guides I keep counting but I'm short of 119 guides (2 per link ), so "just" around 1/3

I have a second set so I will be able to finish but It's getting boring all those (silly) mistakes . What's it's really cost them to burn 2 or 3 more rows !

(mistake is on the lasercut, not the kit itself, just check)
