Almost done with the wheels, and just started some of the detailing...

It has been a while, but I finally got some more pictures. I have finished up all the wheels now. And finished the body of the turret. I was planning on making this into a diorama eventually, and I was wondering if there are any paper models of a thompson out there. Any help is appreciated, thanks

I think this 1:1 model may be a bit bigger than you're looking for?

1928 Thompson (gangster)

There's a military style one by 'Nothing' available as well , but it's not as good as the Gangster one.

Yeah I think that would be a little bit to detailed for me, it would probably take longer to build that then to build the tank...

That's a good-looking .50 cal machine gun Baxter. Where did you get your detail info? The movie, pictures off the 'net, books or what? Nice job guy.

Thank you, google and the movie were both really helpful for the gun. I think I am going to make the diorama the last scene in the movie. So I guess we will see how it goes...

Been stuck on the boring parts for a while. I didnt really like how the tracks looked with just the folded paper, so I tried attaching the links individually.. not great, but I like it a lot more.

Nice work on the .50 cal. Nice custom touches especially with the belt of ammo.

So I finished the other side of treads, and now I am building all the little stuff that goes on the back. I am going to try to make all the pieces that are wood out of real wood...
