Pm 1911

Hello. I started this a couple of days ago and it's going well so far. The frame of the gun is going to be coloured in tan with black details like grip, trigger, plunger tube, slide stop and safety switch.
What do you guys think is it alright so far ?
Thanks for viewing.

Here's a little bit of progress, nothing much just parts that hold the frame together. I whiped a quick prototype of the magazine, it's not scaled right i just wanted to see can it be done as i planned. I folded a card strip and glued it to the bottom of the follower The card spring is okay but it's not gonna be good for the long haul. Bullets are also off size they seem more like 9 mm.

Frame is coming along nicely and is almost done, just guide rails and front rail section are missing. I wraped strips of paper around the edges to cover seams and add strenght.
The trigger, trigger guard, plunger tube, mag release, hammer, grips and magwell back will be attached after i paint the frame.

It looks very good. I've seen real 1911s that didn't look that good. By the way, they DO make 9mm 1911s.

It's done. Im quite happy with it. It can be field stripped and overall it's pretty sturdy. Recoil spring works perfectly without any tearing of the bushing or the barrel link. The plastic strip is a spring and it pushes the follower up to the top so the magazine can be fed like a real one. Well that would be it, off to the wall then. Thanks for support, hope you guys like it.
