A really nice finish Anne. I too look forward to seeing it "when next we meet again".

Congratulations on your skilled and successful completion of a challenging and complicated model! It really does look quite lovely. I wager that 99.99% of human beings will never even attempt such a difficult endeavor, let alone complete it. We only develop great skill when we push beyond the bounds of comfort into the unknown, when we struggle to learn and understand, and when we strive forward regardless of adversity. Well done!

Please forgive me for being me but I had to try and figure out the .50 cal puzzle. Part 124f rolls into a tube, as per your assembly. Parts 126g is the back cap to that tube. Part 124h is the front cap to that tube. Leaving off part 124h probably makes the gun more sturdy. It appears you used parts 124n and 124o correctly, wrapping them around part 124l. There are two parts labeled 124h! As previously stated, one is a disk that caps the tube formed by 124f. I think the second 124h forms a small cylinder at the back of the machine gun, located between the two handles. The construction diagram does not show such a piece but it appears on the real weapon. If I am correct, your assembly is correct with the second part 124h adding an extra detail, should you care. I could not find part 124j so I have no clue on that one. :o

A testimonial to your skill, determination and most important... patience...
(If I were building it, it would have been in the trash as soon as I attempted the tracks...)
I look forward to your next build... (...a Sexton, perhaps?)

All my best to you and your family;
P-lite

Yes!, Anne you did get there. It was a journey, Very much like climbing the Swiss Alps, or Mount Fuji or Mount Rainier (on the west coast of USA). Each step gets you closer to the summit, so the pictures look really great despite the many setbacks.
A Sherman tank at any scale or medium is definitely a challenge...paper, plastic, resin, etc.
